Here, you can test your own skills as an archaeologist. At the ArcheoLab archaeology comes alive, with real excavated artefacts from in and around Utrecht and a chance to personally contribute to archaeological research! Help classify and reassemble earthenware shards or bring along finds from your own garden to identify. Our team of enthusiastic volunteers are always ready to inform and explain. They can also help you make an official report of archaeological finds. The ArcheoLab is open to the public every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon until 4 pm.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The ArcheoLab at Museum Hoge Woerd works closely with Landschap Erfgoed Utrecht (regional landscape heritage conservation alliance) and the AWN society for volunteers in archaeology.
